How do l know whether I need to ship by Full container Load (FCL) or Less than container load (LCL)?

If you are shipping one pallet or a few pallets, it is best to ship by Less than Container Load (LCL) and if you are shipping multiple pallets, around 8 or more, then it is best to ship by  Full Container Load(FCL) either a 20 or 40 ft container
